Moved to Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio, 1836. Ordained an elder by Reuben Hedlock, 28 Feb. 1836, in Kirtland. Ordained a seventy by Hazen Aldrich, 20 Dec. 1836. Stockholder in Kirtland Safety Society. Appointed a president of the Seventy, 6 Apr. 1837. Arrived at Far West, Caldwell Co., Missouri, Mar. 1838. Early settler at Commerce (later Nauvoo), Hancock Co., Illinois. Died in Hancock Co.
