1831: The Eames lived in Medina, Ohio. Their home was used for missionary meetings.

1832: On January 25, Ruggles was called by revelation to travel with Stephen Burnett as his missionary companion (D&C 75:35).

1840: By this time they were living in Van Buren, Iowa.
