Served mission in northern Ohio, early 1831. Reportedly denounced church, by May 1831. Moved to Gallatin Township, Clay Co., Missouri, by 1835.
Married Mary, by 1835. Moved to Quincy, Adams Co., Illinois, by 1840. Moved to Keokuk, Lee Co., Iowa, by 1848. Affiliated with James J. Strang’s Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Strangites) in New York City, 1849; ordained an elder, 8 Oct. 1849. Relocated briefly to Racine, Racine Co., Wisconsin, 1850. Excommunicated from Strangite movement, 1850. Migrated to Utah Territory, by 1853. Moved to Sacramento, Sacramento Co., California, by 1860. Died at Philadelphia.
